Following the meeting of the Israeli Ambassador Amir Maimon and the Director of The Open-Air Museum of Lithuania Violeta Reipaitė yesterday in Rumšiškės, they issued the following statement:
„In light with the upcoming Pancake day, which hopefully will help to get rid of the very cold winter, we ask all to enjoy the celebration in a way which will not hurt anybody‘s feelings. We wish everyone a great and joyful celebration“.
Banishing the Winter Season on February 10

Everyone is welcome to the SHROVETIDE FESTIVAL which is going to be held in the Open Air Museum of Lithuania, in Rumšiškės! We will dance and sing together, and, "make the Winter leave our yard". Please, bring your homemade masks and good mood with you to the museum on the 10th of February!
