A bedspread is the top covering of a bed. Bedspreads were sewn from fabric specially woven for them, for everyday or festive occasions.
The exhibition features drawings of bedspreads recorded during ethnographic expeditions in the ethnographic regions of Samogitia, Highlands, and Dzūkija from 1982 to 1984. These drawings were created by Danutė Verseckaitė-Stasiulienė, a student of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
The exhibition „Bedspread Drawings from the Archive of the Open Air Museum of Lithuania“ is open from the 1st of May until 30th of September, 2024 in the Plungė House in the Museum‘s Town.
