Did you know you can go around Lithuania by bicycle in the Open Air Museum of Lithuania? Here – it’s like a reduced version of the whole of Lithuania, you’ll be able to go around everything in one day!
This year’s bicycle tour “Around Lithuania” is dedicated to the distinguished museum curator Dr. Eligijus Juvencijus Morkūnas, the initiator and creator of this event, who died last year. The first bike ride “Around Lithuania” in the museum was organized in 2011 by Dr. E. J. Morkūnas, commemorating 100 years after the famous traveler, cultural figure, and journalist Matas Šalčius tour around Lithuania by bicycle.
We invite you this Sunday, September 29, at 11:30 a.m. to meet at the museum’s utility entrance and go “Around Lithuania” together. The event and visiting the museum are free of charge.
