Open air museum of Lithuania – Town and Dzūkija sector

Open air museum of Lithuania invites you to the Day of National Communities, during which we will celebrate the amity with historical national communities that have lived in the country since the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
From 12:00 PM, we will invite you to get acquainted with the culture, music, culinary heritage, traditions and history of the Crimeans, Poles, Romans and Jews in the museum’s town, and a rich program of the Tatar community will be waiting for you in the museum’s Dzūkija sector.
The highlight of this year’s event is the opening of the Tatar household exposition in the museum’s Dzūkija sector, in the Musteika homestead, at 2:00 PM.
The event will be filmed and photographed. The footage is used for the purposes of promoting the museum’s activities.
On Sunday, May 31, admission to the museum is free.
