On June 23, at 7 PM we invite you to immerse yourself in the St. John’s Night (Midsummer Night) at the Open-Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumšiškės.
With the arrival of midsummer, nature reaches its greatest accumulation of vital forces. We invite you to gather at the museum and spend the shortest night of the year together!

7:00 PM–8:00 PM St. John’s Nights Soundscapes: Rokas Kašeta (stage at the Barn Theater)
8:00 PM–10:00 PM Festive gates, wreath-making, spells, and games with Rumšiškės Culture Centre folklore ensemble “Nedėja”, Kaunas Palemonas Gymnasium ensemble “Bitula”, Kaunas city folklore ensemble “Alda” (on the hill in the Dzūkija village)
09:30 PM–10:00 PM Greetings of John and Janina (Dzūkija village)
09:30 PM–11:00 PM Horrors and tales, hiding in the dark (Rudamina’s homestead, Dzūkija)
10:00 PM–11:00 PM Lighting of the altar, seeing off the sun, and procession to the big bonfire (on the hill in the Dzūkija village)
11:00 PM–11:30 PM Rolling of burning wheels down the hill, lighting of the hubs and the big bonfire (Barn Theater Valley)

Ticket prices:
- Adults – 10 €;
- schoolchildren, students, seniors – 5 €;
- preschool children – free.
