On August 15th dress up in your most beautiful clothes, pick up the most fragrant herbs, and invite your relatives and friends to visit the Assumption of Mary Feast at the Open Air Museum of Lithuania!
We will start at noon with a solemn holy mass in the church of the museum town, where the herbs and fresh harvest will be consecrated. After the church rites, we will head to Aukštaitija village in a harmonious festive procession to a merry-go-round of fun!
The Open Air Museum of Lithuania is the most suitable place to meet relatives and friends, give thanks for the new harvest, enjoy its goodies, remember the summer that has passed by in leaps and bounds, and revive the spirit of the Assumption of Mary Feast in the old village.
