On Sunday, November 10th, at noon we invite you to the traditional autumn festival of shepherds – White Goat Day! Let’s meet at the Open Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumšiškės – in Aukštaitija, in the Mičiūnai homestead!
According to the ancient custom of shepherds, we will say goodbye to bitter autumn and invite winter—the snow queen. Then, we’ll warm up by a cozy shepherd’s fire, bake potatoes in the ashes, brew herbal tea, and play shepherds’ games. Children will be able to interact with the main characters of the festival, goats.
The animals will be even more pleased with you if you take a carrot or a cabbage leaf from your pet carrier. Mother Nature will be happy if you have your cup for tea.
So let’s not forget about comfortable and warm autumn-winter threshold shoes, clothes, goodies, and a cup.
Hurry up, goat, the winter!
